This story based in Tehran offers a portrait of the unknown lives of millions of Afghan refugees in Iran as well as a private look into refugee life in limbo. Fereshteh and Nabi are two Afghan lovers. Years ago Fereshteh immigrated to Iran with her Afghan family. Nabi follows her there to take her to Europe through Turkey so that they may start a new life together. PARTING sheds light into hope dealers who take advantage of refugees and this social crisis that has become a painful reality of humanity. These two hearts in love will face many roadblocks on their journey towards their dreams that are as pure and real as any of the other millions of refugees.
