Synopsis:
While Nicolas III -the King of Belgium- was enjoying his trip to Istanbul, the French-speaking Wallonia section of France declares it’s independence. Now, the King must return home to keep his title. However, stormy weathers have grounded all airplanes and the phone lines are down… Wİth the help of a nutty British documentarian and a Bulgarian folk dance group, the King manages to cross the border into Bulgaria. In a disguise, of course! On this seemingly endless journey, the King sees the real world and meets real people for the first time in a long time, and soon his journey turns into an epic trip to the Balkans where he rediscovers not only the world, but his own self as well.
